Note: This DISN-04 encryption cable connects a KIV-19 Black device with a DB25 male interface to an RS-530 DCE device with a DB25 female interface. This DB25 female to DB25 male cable is built to military specifications with MILSPEC connectors, solid metal backshells and 360 degree grounding. Most applications require a PVC jacket. Stonewall also offers a plenum rated jacket and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. See Jacket Types sidebar for more information.

KIV-19 applications require two cables: a "Red" (unencrypted) interface cable and a "Black" (encrypted) interface cable. See KIV-19 Red Encryption Cables.
