Note: This encryption cable connects a KIV-7 Black device with a DB37 male interface to an RS-232 DTE device with a DB9 female interface. Most applications require a PVC jacket. Stonewall also offers a plenum rated jacket and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. See Jacket Types sidebar for more information.

KIV-7 applications require two cables: a "Red" (unencrypted) interface cable and a "Black" (encrypted) interface cable. See KIV-7 Red Encryption Cables.
