Connector Gender

Usually Male, Female, or Blunt.

Male: The connector contacts are usually pin style.
Female: The connector contacts are usually socket style.
Blunt: The end of the cable is unterminated.

You may be asked to choose the gender of the connectors at both ends (Connector 1 and Connector 2) of the cable. This is indicated in the drop-down box by a slash (/). The gender specified on the left of the slash is for Connector 1 and the gender specified on the right of the slash is for Connector 2. Example:                 Choose: Connector 1 / Connector 2                 Male / Blunt                  Male / Male                  Male / Female                  Female / Female                  Female / Blunt                choosing "Male / Female" would indicate Connector 1 is to be Male and Connector 2 is to be Female.
